This is a wonderful vintage ladies hat. Around the 1930’s style. It has the tulle veil for just the right touch of elegance and the requisite bow on the back. It kinda shows in the pictures that the hat is black but in fact it is navy blue. Made in England by Kangol Design, there is an additional tag that says “Parasisal” Parasisal is a fine, high quality natural straw made from sisal, bleached or dyed to colour, comes in grades from one through to five. Normally reserved for expensive hats. Delicate in texture but resilient in wear, takes dye well. Parasisal is made using two over two weave. In other words, this hat will last you for many more decades with proper care!
