This drop front desk would make a great place for your child to do their homework on. The 3 drawers can hold lots of school supplies and have quarter rounds for added stability. The cubbyholes inside are great for keeping their notebooks and papers tidy and organized with a cute little drawer for small items like erasers.

The desk supports are missing, but replacement hardware is included in the price. The art deco details of the handles and the striping along the sides and bottom of the desk give it lots of character. A previous owner added a Bakelite knob on the desk flap, not original to the item. This drop front desk is extremely well made with solid oak and dates from the 1920's - 1930's.

The desk is in excellent condition structurally (solid as a rock!) but has lots of wear on the finish. Not much varnish left but the wear is pretty even. This desk was well used and loved! Sold as is with a key for the desk.

The desk is 40"H x 29"W x 15"D. The desk top measures 28"W x 20 1/4"D.  The weight is approx. 85 lbs.
